Family Portrait in Providence – RI Portrait Photography

Fall is the time that I do lots of family portraits. The light and the colors are some of the best stuff of the year. This family always takes advantage of that gorgeousness every autumn. Not that they need any help because this is one gorgeous family! They would look great in front of a dumpster. I met everyone when big brother was about 6 months old. That was four years ago and one less family member. Now little brother is on the scene and trying to steal the show. I don’t think my peek-a-boo-ing from behind the camera ever yielded so many smiles!

When this cutie pie came to my office she had an entire posse with her. Mom and Dad were there along with Grandma and her Auntie. It’s obvious this little girl is adored by her family. No one wanted to miss the chance to see her dive into her cake for the big finale of our session! She did not disappoint. Once the cake came out it was all buiness. She carefully started taking off frosting, eating it, and then when there was too much on her hand she would basically whip her little fingers around until it was gone. Four Year Old Portrait Session – RI Portrait Photography

Ryan’s parents have brought him in for many mini sessions but this is the first time I was able to do a real deal portrait session of him. I was excited! Mini sessions can be a blur. I see a lot of kids and not for too much time, but I always remembered Ryan. He is just adorable! I love his long hair and his parents always have him in great clothes. It’s also always stuck in my head that it can take a minute for Ryan to warm up to the camera. That was not the case now that he is four years old! Ryan was chatting with me non stop and just being so darn cute! I got great, great pics of this little guy!

Twins Cake Smash and First Year Portrait – RI Cake Smash Photographer

This is my first cake smash session with twins! We had two separate cakes for each birthday baby. After doing some family photos we dove right in to those cakes made as always by Lauren at Cake-tique. Ladies usually go first, but we decided to have little man try the cake smash experience before his sister. Looking back maybe we might have switched it. We thought he was going to make a huge mess, but Brother did not like the cake very much. His sister on the other hand showed him how it was done. She posed. She smiled. She ate cake. Even though he maybe doesn’t have a sweet tooth I still got some great shots of her brother in his little blue tie and diaper cover. I think Mom and Dad should make sure to show every future girlfriend these photos and tell them all about the cake smash torture!!

Newborn and Family Portrait Session – RI Portrait Photography

Yet again my job allowed me to step into the life of an adorable family for a little while. This time I got to meet this happy clan who just added Claire into the mix! She quietly got her photo taken for a good while. Claire is a newborn photographer dream. Her big brother was also on hand for photos, but he was definitely more interested in things besides Claire and I. If there was a theme to this session it has to be Cliff Bars for Kids. This little guy got a couple in return for sitting still and smiling. I am a supported of bribery! It always works. The proof is below…
