I had the pleasure of meeting this family yesterday for a double birthday portrait! This brother and sister have birthdays in the same month. Big sis is turning four and it’s the big first birthday for the baby! First birthdays mean one thing around here… A cake smash! As always the beautiful cake was provided by Cake-tique. What would I do without them? Today just also happens to be Mommy’s birthday so I thought I would post this as a bday surprise! Happy Birthdays all around!

I couldn’t have asked for a better subject than this little peanut! She is a born super model! She did make quite the entrance in my studio. Lucky Mom and Dad got to experience their first ever diaper blow out right when they arrived! It was epic to say the least. With that out of the way our little girl felt… well relieved and ready for photos! Mom brought a piece of her mother’s wedding dress and a bow from her grandmother’s wedding dress which made for some gorgeous photos as well as adding a nice personal touch to the session.

Another one of my favorite families here! I’ve taken some of my best photos of these boys. They are just so cute and lovable together. It really makes my job easy. When I first met this family they only had two little guys. The youngest brother, Kellen, turned a year old this past month. He had a winter themed birthday party so Mom had great decorations that we reused for the cake smash. Win! As always our adorable cake was provided by Lauren at Cake-tique!

This was the cake smash that I thought would never happen! Every time we scheduled the session it would snow. This is not shocking considering the amount of snow we’ve gotten in the past month. FINALLY there was a break in all this crazy weather. We were able to do the session and it was worth the wait! This little lady was a pro! She made it one of the easiest cake smashes ever. The smiles kept coming, the cake was smashed, and the pictures look amazing! Happy Birthday, Amelia!!!

There is nothing that means more to me than a loyal client and you can’t get more loyal than this family. Think of a milestone in any family and I’ve been there to capture it for these guys. Engagement, Marriage, Pregnancy, First Baby, Holidays, Family Portraits, First Birthday… Yup I’ve done all those sessions for them. They’ve stuck with me as their family photographer. I feel the utmost gratitude to them for this. It is truly an honor. Yesterday I was called in again to take photos of their newest baby, Evie! When Mommy texted me a couple of months ago saying that she was getting her girl I was beyond excited!! I knew there were high hopes for a baby girl this time and that dream came true! Big brother, Caleb, has to share the spotlight now. He has gotten a pretty big spotlight thus far so there is enough to go around. This is a wonderful family with so much love! A big congrats to Mike and Meredith!!!
