Family Portrait Time – RI Family Portraits

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family for the past three years. My first session with them was part maternity session! Now look how big these boys are getting. It’s so nice to be able to go to someone’s house to do photos. It doesn’t hurt that they have a fabulous yard! It’s also so easy for the kids to just run around, play with their toys and be themselves.

Miles’s Newborn Photo Session – RI Newborn Photography

I love that my job gives me the opportunity to meet new families. Last week I drove all the way to a cute little town right outside of Boston to meet this one. Miles had his newborn shoot on his one week birthday. He is a lucky guy for many reasons. Number 1 – He is adorable. Number 2 – So are his mom and dad. Number 3 – Mom and Dad have amazing taste and style (I would take all their furniture and happily put it in my house). Miles has the coolest alphabet wall in his nursery! I loved it! His parents also had the foresight to buy a house with great lighting.  And let’s not forget the nice blankets that made for some great photo accessories.  All these pretty things made my job way too easy!

Calvin’s 6 Month Portrait Session – RI Baby Photography

It is such an honor to be able to document these important moments for families. Especially one as nice as this! First I shot the maternity session, then it was Calvin’s newborn photos. Now here we are six months later. What a difference a couple months make in the first year of life!  Calvin might be the happiest 6 month old ever.  He was all smiles the session.  Mommy and Daddy knew had all the best tricks to get him to smile.  The guaranteed winner every time was a song from his Itsy Bitsy Yoga Class at Bellani Maternity taught by my friend, Amanda (hello, Amanda!).

Sander at the Studio – RI Baby Photographer

When Sander’s parents contacted me they said he was a mover. Honestly everyone says that, but you never know how much moving will take place. Sander did a lot of it. Thankfully he was happy to explore my building. Yes, I practically was rolling around on the floor to get some pictures of him, but I do like a challenge…

I’d like to give Mom and Dad a little shout out here!   They were always in the right place at the right time.  They might have been professional family portrait models and didn’t tell me.
