Avery’s Two Year Rainbow Portrait – RI Children Photographer

When Avery’s Mom contacted me to do her second year portrait I was very excited! I had the pleasure of taking her first year portrait which involved an fun cake smash. I also was there to take the photos at her first birthday party. This year she is having an arts and crafts/rainbow party at the fabulous Bellani Maternity. We decided to tie in the theme to her photo session. Mom brought some great props including some fun chalkboard signs all about Avery. Love them!!

Sophia’s First Birthday Cake Smash

It was my pleasure to be able to take little Sophia’s first year portraits. When I asked her parents if she was walking yet I was excited to hear that she wasn’t. For selfish reasons of course! I thought she would sit and relax while I took her photos. I think I must have forgotten what a one year old is like! Walking or no walking Sophia was all of over the place. I still managed to get tons of good shots. Her parents brought quite a wardrobe! I had so much fun taking her photos in them! Love the red and white one! As always our awesome smash cake was made by Cake-tique!

When Sander’s parents contacted me they said he was a mover. Honestly everyone says that, but you never know how much moving will take place. Sander did a lot of it. Thankfully he was happy to explore my building. Yes, I practically was rolling around on the floor to get some pictures of him, but I do like a challenge…

I’d like to give Mom and Dad a little shout out here! They were always in the right place at the right time. They might have been professional family portrait models and didn’t tell me.

It’s always a special treat to get some time outside in January!

Lasher’s Newborn Portrait Shoot – RI Newborn Photography

A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of doing a maternity session for Lasher’s mom and dad. Now I get to meet the little man that was cooking in that big belly! Such a handsome little guy! I am so happy that I had the chance to meet this family. I also would like to publicly apologize for telling Lasher’s parents horror stories of how my son woke up three times a night until he was 15 months old. What am I doing? Guys, I will guarantee that Lasher is an angel. He was too well behaved at the portrait shoot to be anything but!

Micheal’s First Year Portrait – RI Baby Photography

One of Michael’s Aunties was nice enough to give a gift certificate for a first year cake smash portrait with me to Michael’s parents. His other Auntie happens to be the fabulous cake designer from Cake-tique that does all my smash cakes! It would be sort of ridiculous if Michael didn’t do one. I’m so happy that he did! I did his mommy’s maternity photos back when he was still cooking. Now here he is turning a year old! He is such a happy kid and extremely adorable!
