Birthday Portraits at the Park – RI Children’s Photographer

If you’ve been to my blog before chances are you’ve seen these two little guys.  They are my best customers and two of my favorite kids to take pictures of.  Recently they both celebrated their birthdays.  Emma turned 5 years old and Nicholas is now 3!  What better occasion to take some pictures than a birthday?

Outfit changes are always fun at a portrait shoot.  Emma picked out this dress because it is so fancy – just like she is!

A portrait session with Nicholas would not be complete without his serious close up.

Matthew’s Beach Mini Shoot – RI Baby Photographer

If we were giving out awards for most smiles smiled in a 20 minute time span that award would go to Matthew.  We should actually give it another award to his parents for making it happen.  I heard a lot of craziness going on behind me while I was snapping away.  I always miss out on the fun stuff!  At one point while we were shooting Matthew came right over to me and sat on my lap.  It seriously melted my heart and it possibly the cutest thing that has ever happened to me at a portrait shoot.

Cousins Beach Mini Shoot – RI Family Portrait Photographer

This family was referred to me by another client of mine.  She warned me that these kids were some of the cutest I would ever see.  She was right!  It also helps when your Moms are on top of things.  Not only were they in perfect beach outfits, but they also brought so many great “props” – an adorable knit stuffed mermaid, star fish, a cute stuffed doggie.  Picture perfect add ons always help!

Little Rosie’s Portrait Session – RI Baby Photographer

I had a spot picked out for a portrait shoot. I was just waiting for the subject. Enter Rosie! Rose’s mom sent me the nicest email about how much she wanted to take pictures of her little girl. I told her the spot I had in mind and what I was envisioning. Rose was the perfect fit. First of all she is so beautiful! She looks like a little vintage doll. Second her mom brought the best clothes! It was a perfect fit for the location.

For the most part Rose wanted nothing to do with taking pictures.  She was more interested in stuffed animals, Mommy, Daddy, juice, goldfish, and all things awesome for a two year old.

Emma and Nicholas at Roger Williams Park – RI Children’s Photography

If you follow my site then you must have seen these kids.  How could you forget them?  When their Mom asked me to do some Easter pictures there was a lot of plans.  She was going to get a bunny, but the bunny was too much of a diva.  It couldn’t make it to the shoot because it needed a salon day.  Then she was going to bring some Easter-y kind of stuff for the pictures and forgot it all at home.  For those of you who have more than one kid and a puppy you can understand how these things happen.  When your kids are as cute as Emma and Nicholas you don’t really need anything!  Those eyes are enough cuteness for one person to handle!

Peek–a-boo!

I love these!

This is such a great time for pictures!  All the blooming trees are so colorful.  If you blink you will miss it!  It is here and gone in a flash.  I’m so happy I got to take advantage of them while they are here.
