Family Portrait at Roger Williams Park – RI Family Portrait Photography

Way back when I did my first mini sessions in this very same spot I met this family for the first time. Big Brother was only a less than a year old. He had the most gorgeous blue eyes I’ve every seen! Fast forward and here they are again. This time there is another beautiful baby boy who also was lucky enough to get the same color eyes. I love seeing families grow and having the opportunity to capture it for them is an honor.

Brother and Sister Fall Portrait in Roger Williams Park

I was definitely looking forward to doing this portrait because I knew in advance how cute these kids are! My daughter plays with these guys so I’ve been admiring their little faces for a while now.  Mom warned me that it was going to be tough getting a genuine smile from Liam, but thankfully we were able to get some out of him.  His sister on the other hand was ready with a smile at the drop of a hat.  Not only did they show me their smiles, but I also got to see their mad faces (not featured on the blog today. sorry).  I showed some of these to my daughter and she approved.  My little girl always tells me when she doesn’t like my photos so I must have done a good job.

Little Sis Cake Smash with Big Brother – RI Family Photography

I have done big Bro’s photos plenty of times, but now he has a little siter and she is taking over!  Mom came prepared with tons of great outfits and accessories.   We took tons of photos until finally we had to bribe everyone with cake to squeeze in a couple of more.  When the cake came out this little lady did the cutest thing ever.  She started doing the baby sign for “Please”.  So adorable!!  I will say one thing before I wrap this up… Jaime, you make some beautiful kids!!

Cake Smash at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI

I had the pleasure of meeting this family almost a year ago when little Julia could hardly sit up. Thankfully she was able to sit for photos with the help of big brother and sister. Now here we are celebrating her first birthday with a cake smash portrait session!  Time sure does fly.  Instead of helping her sit up her big brother and sister were there help her balance on the uneven ground at the park.  Of course they also got in some photos as well.  Julia gave us some many smiles that it definitely made my job easy.  She is a happy, happy baby… I mean toddler!!

Family of Five Sunflower Portrait in CT

Five children in one photo?  Five kids to make look at the camera all at the same time?  Time for the photographer to have a nervous breakdown?  Not at all.  I have taken pictures of these five kids before and I have to say it’s easier than some families of one!  Not only do they listen and look at the camera, but they also take turns carrying my backpak of equipment!  Mom messaged me a year ago about doing this portrait session.  The weather and crazy schedules tried to stop us, but we managed to get in these photos one Saturday morning.  So happy we did!!
