Wild One Cake Smash Portrait

I absolutely love doing first year portraits!  Babies grow and change so much in that first year.  I think people forget what a big milestone it is for parents too.  It’s the end of the first year you’ve had with your new baby!  It’s year of learning and growing for you both.  It’s also most likely the first and last time in your child’s life that someone will set an adorable cake in front of them and say “Tear it apart!”.  Side note, most babies don’t smash the cake.  This little guy didn’t despite his wild one theme!  He was actually too busy trying to get into everything else at the studio BUT the cake!  Regardless of his speed we got the CUTEST photos of him!  Thank you, Bake.Eat.Love, for the amazing cake!

Newborn Session with Big Brother in RI – RI Family Photography

I love doing newborn sessions at my clients’ houses.  The setting for the photos is the place you brought your baby when it was time to come home from the hospital.  Nothing could be better!  This little guy is the son of a firefighter.  Dad had all his gear out so we could incorporate it into the session and it worked perfectly for the photos!  Too bad the newborn stage goes by so fast because this baby could have had a successful career in newborn modeling!  He was more than happy to sleep in Daddy’s helmet, on his jacket, and where ever else we put him!  Not only were Mom and Dad on hand for the session, but we also had a new proud big brother who got to miss a little bit of school for the photos.  Bonus for him!

Cake Smash Portrait Session – RI Cake Smash Photography

It seemed like this cake smash was never going to happen but thankfully we were able to do it!  Mom warned me that Mackenzie was a fast one!  She was right!  Thankfully we were able to distract her long to get some great photos!  These guys picked some of great colors for their outfits and the cake smash.  I love coral and teal together!  Great colors, super cute clothes, headpieces and an adorable little baby!  What more could a photographer ask for?

Two Year Portrait at the Studio – RI Baby Photography

This little guy is so cute! I mean really just so so cute!  I did his cake smash session last year when he turned a year old.  He stood up for the first time right in front of my camera!  Now here he is a year later, running all over the place, showing me his train collection.  It never ceases to amaze me how much can change in just one year.  Another thing that never changes is how truly honored that people let me capture the growth of their little ones year after year.

Newborn Session – Newborn Photographer

I just love my job! It gives me the opportunity to meet so many new people and families. It also puts me in contact with little tiny babies!  It isn’t everyday that you get to hold a newborn.  Thankfully I get to hang out with my fair share of them otherwise I might have seven children instead of just two.  This little girl was about three weeks old when we did her portrait session.  She was so sweet and patient with me and her mom putting her in baskets, boxes, a wagon, dressing her up as a bunny, sticking bows on her head…  She didn’t make a peep and happily went along with the craziness that we put her through.  The result is some really adorable pictures she’ll have for a lifetime.
