Family Portrait Session in Bristol, RI

When you are pregnant with your second child you always think “This baby is going to have everything their older sister had.  Baby books, scrapbooks, tons of photos…”  Unfortunately that doesn’t always happen, but we all make a valiant effort to do so.  My son is definitely going to be mad at me one day (sorry, Max!  Mommy loves you!!).  This family did pictures with their oldest girl and wanted to make sure they got some with their (not so) new addition!  We had the most gorgeous day for these pictures and the light was amazing!  First we stopped by Colt State Park and then it was off to Bristol Harbour Inn where Mom and Dad just happened to get married!  That’s what we call going Full Circle!

Newborn Family Portrait Session in MA – MA Family Photography

Newborn sessions are always such a treat for me! It’s not everyday that you get to see, hold and touch a new baby. I’m a little spoiled with my job since I get to do this quite often.  My favorite kind of newborn session is the one that comes with an older sibling especially one as sweet as this girl!  I’ve had the pleasure of taking big sis’s portrait a couple of times now.  She was my little buddy at the shoot and “helped” me so much with her brother.  I couldn’t have done it without her!

Family Portrait in Carlisle, MA – MA Portrait Photography

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of doing a portrait session with this family every year. The first time we did photos it was actually a maternity session! Now these boys are growing up fast. If it looks like an energy filled session it’s because it was! I always think “Maybe this year the boys will sit a little longer since they are getting older”. Nope! These brothers have so much fun playing together that it’s all they want to do. I like the sessions to be fun for the kids so I just roll with it. If a good time and good pictures were the goal I’d have to say job well done!

Family Portrait in Roger Williams Park – RI Portrait Photography

Roger Williams Park is one of my favorite places to do a portrait session.  The park has so many beautiful places for photos.  I met this family at one of my most frequented spots in the park.  They had their two daughters with then in adorable matching dresses!  One baby couldn’t move, but the other made up for that.  I certainly got my work out in this session, but no child has ever really made my job “easy”.  When you are a toddler you have lots of things you want to do.  I’m just there to go with the flow and get some photos of it happening.

Blithewold Gardens Family Portrait – RI Portrait Photography

I had the pleasure of second shooting for Snap! Photography at Jessica and Jenson’s wedding at Blithewold some years ago. I have always remembered their wedding mainly because they were such a pleasure to be around all day! Now here we are back to the place that started their journey as a family, but this time they have a new member! Little baby H crashed the party this time. She was quite the explorer while we taking photos. Thankfully she took a couple of breaks here and there to stop for photos. All and all it was a nice time revisiting old memories while making some new ones as well!
