Cake Smash at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI

I had the pleasure of meeting this family almost a year ago when little Julia could hardly sit up. Thankfully she was able to sit for photos with the help of big brother and sister. Now here we are celebrating her first birthday with a cake smash portrait session!  Time sure does fly.  Instead of helping her sit up her big brother and sister were there help her balance on the uneven ground at the park.  Of course they also got in some photos as well.  Julia gave us some many smiles that it definitely made my job easy.  She is a happy, happy baby… I mean toddler!!

Maternity Portrait in Bristol, RI

What a treat it was to do Stephanie’s maternity session! We picked a gorgeous location, the lighting was amazing and mom and dad to be were adorable. How could I miss? Stephanie brought so many cute things from the baby shower to incorporate into the shoot – a banner with Olivia’s name on it, little shoes she’ll be wearing and a cute bird’s nest favor from the shower.  I will be seeing them soon for a newborn session when this little girl decides to make her grand entrance into the world!  Can’t wait to meet her!

Family Portrait in Salem, MA – MA Baby Photography

For this family portrait I drove all the way up to Salem. I hadn’t been to Salem since I was a kid. There were so many historic houses, a beautiful waterfront, and lots of Halloween stores.  The Halloween thing really confused me at first then I remembered… It’s Salem, MA!  In my defense we did meet early in the morning.  I sometimes need help waking up.  Thankfully Everett and his parents were up and looking awesome!  We were able to get in some smiles and even a couple of different locations before nap time.  Everett was just adorable.  His smile is a little too much cuteness for me to handle.   He did a great job posing when he was all done pointing at everything.  I couldn’t have asked for a better subject.

Family of Five Sunflower Portrait in CT

Five children in one photo?  Five kids to make look at the camera all at the same time?  Time for the photographer to have a nervous breakdown?  Not at all.  I have taken pictures of these five kids before and I have to say it’s easier than some families of one!  Not only do they listen and look at the camera, but they also take turns carrying my backpak of equipment!  Mom messaged me a year ago about doing this portrait session.  The weather and crazy schedules tried to stop us, but we managed to get in these photos one Saturday morning.  So happy we did!!

Family Portrait at Harkness State Park in CT

I’ve had the pleasure of watching this family grow over the years. Stella and Shane hired me to do their wedding photography. The wedding took place at one of my favorite venues, Harkness Memorial Park in CT. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with so many flowers. Fast forward to 2013… I’m meeting Stella and Shane once again at Harkness. The park is just as gorgeous but one thing is very different. Instead of doing photos of just Stella and Shane this time they brought there adorable daughters for the photos! How beautiful these girls are!! This is the third family portrait session we have done and I really can’t wait to see them again!
