Four Year Old Portrait Session – RI Portrait Photography

Ryan’s parents have brought him in for many mini sessions but this is the first time I was able to do a real deal portrait session of him.  I was excited!  Mini sessions can be a blur.  I see a lot of kids and not for too much time, but I always remembered Ryan.  He is just adorable!  I love his long hair and his parents always have him in great clothes.  It’s also always stuck in my head that it can take a minute for Ryan to warm up to the camera.  That was not the case now that he is four years old!  Ryan was chatting with me non stop and just being so darn cute!  I got great, great pics of this little guy!

Family Portrait Session at Roger Williams Park

I’ve said it many, many times here on my blog and really I can’t say it enough.  It’s such an honor to be able to capture families as they grow and change.  I’ve taken a lot of pics of this family when there was only four of them.  Now they have a fifth member that’s been added to the mix.  He has a lot to live up to because his brothers really have this photo thing down!  I don’t know how they do it, but these guys just can’t stop being cute for the camera.  I’ve taken some of my cutest photos of these guys and now there is a third!    It must be in the genes because the youngest was hamming it up for the camera.  Triple cuteness overload.

Family Portrait in Carlisle, MA – MA Portrait Photography

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of doing a portrait session with this family every year. The first time we did photos it was actually a maternity session! Now these boys are growing up fast. If it looks like an energy filled session it’s because it was! I always think “Maybe this year the boys will sit a little longer since they are getting older”. Nope! These brothers have so much fun playing together that it’s all they want to do. I like the sessions to be fun for the kids so I just roll with it. If a good time and good pictures were the goal I’d have to say job well done!

Logan’s Four Year Portrait

One of my most photographed kids and best buddy, Logan, is four years old this year!  It’s always a treat for me to see Logan and her parents.  I would love to just chat with Mom and Dad, but honestly Logan and I are kind of best friends.  While Mom and Dad hang back Logan and I walk around, chat, make each other laugh and take pictures.  It’s almost like a play date!  Recently Logan told her Mom “Only Alissa takes my picture”.  Coming for a little kid that is a 5 star review!  We started Logan’s portrait at my studio and then walking around the building.  Logan’s Dad is an artist who also has a spot in Hope Artiste Village so we even got to take some pics in there.  Sorry other parents!  You can not have your photo session in Michael’s place amongst the metal, tools and fork lift!

Family Portrait in Roger Williams Park – RI Portrait Photography

Logan is has the best time when we take pictures. She scares me, I scream, she laughs. It’s a formula we had this year for her mini and portrait session.  I have to say it worked beautifully!  In addition to scaring me Logan was also having the best time throwing leaves in the air.  Perfect fall portrait accessory!  I always look forward to seeing Logan and her family.  I probably spend as much time chatting with Mom as I do taking photos.  Hanging out with cool families is reason #453 why I love my job.  Thanks for choosing me to take your photos, guys!
