Logan’s Fourth Year Portrait at the Studio

Logan’s yearly photos are always ones that I look forward to taking. First off I can’t wait to see what outfit she’ll be wearing. I so look forward to seeing pictures of her on Facebook in all her cool clothes so it’s a treat when I get to see her in person looking all stylish.  Another thing I look forward to is just hanging out with Logan, period!  She loves when I take her photo so the entire session is easy as pie.  I also get to chat with the grown ups she brings with her also known as Mom, Dad and Grandma.  I first did Logan’s photos when she was 18 months old.  Now she is four and a half!!!  I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her and her family a couple of times a year.  One of my job perks is the chance to document families and children as they grow.  Logan is the perfect example of that.  Mom recently did a collage of the photos I’ve taken of her over the years.  It truly warmed my heart to see it.  She has grown up in front of my camera!

Colt State Park Maternity and Family Portrait Session – RI Family Photography

I had such a great time photographing this beautiful family!  When I met them I was initially impressed by the sharp outfit choices.  If you show up for a portrait session and your child has a pocket square in his jacket be sure that I’m going to get excited!  It’s all in the details!  The entire family had a great vibe and seemed very comfortable being in front of the camera.  All these things make for a happy photographer!  Since this maternity session the baby has been born!!  Dad called and told me that not only has he been a dream for the nurses in the hospital but he has thee most beautiful eyes.  I hope I get to meet this little dude!  Congrats on the new arrival!!  So happy that I was able to capture this happy time in your lives!

Famliy Portrait Session at War Memorial Park in West Bridgewater, MA – MA Photographer

Back to War Memorial Park for this girl!  This time I got to meet these adorable characters.  These kids gave Mom and Dad a work out – running this way and that, eating leaves…  usual stuff.  There was also the case of the cereal box toy car that you might spot in the pictures here and there.  A happy boy holding a car is better than one crying because he can’t hold it!  The bonus is it’s small and blue so it matched their outfits!  I don’t think anyone would have even noticed it if I didn’t call attention to the fact that it’s there.  Despite a cereal box prize and lots of energy I was able to get so many cute photos of everyone.  As long as everyone is happy there is no way I can’t get some good shots.

Family Portrait at Roger Williams Park – Fall Family Portrait

Autumn is the perfect time of year for a family portrait! This season offers not only the gorgeous colors of the leaves changing. You can’t beat the gorgeous light that comes in the early afternoon.  I met this family at Roger Williams Park a couple of weeks ago.  I was so impressed with the outfits!  They complimented each other and the gorgeous natural hues of the park.  The idea of taking photos of three children can sometimes be daunting, but these guys made is easy!  All smiles!  Just what you need for some great photos!

Coggeshall Farm Family Portrait in Bristol – RI Family Portrait Photography

Fall is one of the best times of the year for me because I get to see so many of my favorite clients.  Finley and her family are definitely on that list!  This is our third year in a row taking photos at Coggeshall Farm in Bristol, RI.  Although Finley has changed so much in that time some things have not.  Every year Finley brings her favorite doll.  This year Sasha was replaced by her Cabbage Patch Kid, Claudine.  Sorry, Sasha!  Finley also brings some other friends – her puppies!  That means one toddler, one doll and two dogs plus Mommy and Daddy.  Thankfully Mom, Dad and Claudine will happily sit and smile for photos while I try to get everyone else to look at the camera!  All in a day’s work!
