Cake Smash with Kellen – RI Cake Smash Portrait

Another one of my favorite families here! I’ve taken some of my best photos of these boys. They are just so cute and lovable together. It really makes my job easy. When I first met this family they only had two little guys. The youngest brother, Kellen, turned a year old this past month. He had a winter themed birthday party so Mom had great decorations that we reused for the cake smash.  Win!  As always our adorable cake was provided by Lauren at Cake-tique!

Cake Smash Session at the Studio – First Birthday Portrait

This was the cake smash that I thought would never happen! Every time we scheduled the session it would snow. This is not shocking considering the amount of snow we’ve gotten in the past month. FINALLY there was a break in all this crazy weather. We were able to do the session and it was worth the wait! This little lady was a pro! She made it one of the easiest cake smashes ever. The smiles kept coming, the cake was smashed, and the pictures look amazing! Happy Birthday, Amelia!!!

First Year Portrait at War Memorial Park in West Bridgewater, MA

A couple of months ago a client suggested the War Memorial Park as a spot for their family portrait. Since then I’ve been back a bunch of times! It’s a beautiful little spot that has so many great places for photos. Recently I returned to the park for little Leo’s first birthday photos. Mom and Dad brought some great props for the pics that included balloons, a pumpkin, and a great sign that had all facts about Leo. We chased Leo all over the place taking photos and just having a great time! It was the perfect fall portrait session!

Cake Smash Portrait Session at Studio – RI Baby Photography

When this cutie pie came to my office she had an entire posse with her. Mom and Dad were there along with Grandma and her Auntie. It’s obvious this little girl is adored by her family.  No one wanted to miss the chance to see her dive into her cake for the big finale of our session!  She did not disappoint.  Once the cake came out it was all buiness.  She carefully started taking off frosting, eating it, and then when there was too much on her hand she would basically whip her little fingers around until it was gone.  What a mess, but as always it’s worth it for the photos!  – Cake by Cake-tique

Twins Cake Smash and First Year Portrait – RI Cake Smash Photographer

This is my first cake smash session with twins! We had two separate cakes for each birthday baby. After doing some family photos we dove right in to those cakes made as always by Lauren at Cake-tique.  Ladies usually go first, but we decided to have little man try the cake smash experience before his sister.  Looking back maybe we might have switched it.  We thought he was going to make a huge mess, but Brother did not like the cake very much.  His sister on the other hand showed him how it was done.  She posed.  She smiled.  She ate cake.  Even though he maybe doesn’t have a sweet tooth I still got some great shots of her brother in his little blue tie and diaper cover.  I think Mom and Dad should make sure to show every future girlfriend these photos and tell them all about the cake smash torture!!
