Family Portrait in Carlisle, MA – MA Portrait Photography

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of doing a portrait session with this family every year. The first time we did photos it was actually a maternity session! Now these boys are growing up fast. If it looks like an energy filled session it’s because it was! I always think “Maybe this year the boys will sit a little longer since they are getting older”. Nope! These brothers have so much fun playing together that it’s all they want to do. I like the sessions to be fun for the kids so I just roll with it. If a good time and good pictures were the goal I’d have to say job well done!

Family Portrait in Roger Williams Park – RI Portrait Photography

Roger Williams Park is one of my favorite places to do a portrait session.  The park has so many beautiful places for photos.  I met this family at one of my most frequented spots in the park.  They had their two daughters with then in adorable matching dresses!  One baby couldn’t move, but the other made up for that.  I certainly got my work out in this session, but no child has ever really made my job “easy”.  When you are a toddler you have lots of things you want to do.  I’m just there to go with the flow and get some photos of it happening.

Blithewold Gardens Family Portrait – RI Portrait Photography

I had the pleasure of second shooting for Snap! Photography at Jessica and Jenson’s wedding at Blithewold some years ago. I have always remembered their wedding mainly because they were such a pleasure to be around all day! Now here we are back to the place that started their journey as a family, but this time they have a new member! Little baby H crashed the party this time. She was quite the explorer while we taking photos. Thankfully she took a couple of breaks here and there to stop for photos. All and all it was a nice time revisiting old memories while making some new ones as well!

Logan’s Four Year Portrait

One of my most photographed kids and best buddy, Logan, is four years old this year!  It’s always a treat for me to see Logan and her parents.  I would love to just chat with Mom and Dad, but honestly Logan and I are kind of best friends.  While Mom and Dad hang back Logan and I walk around, chat, make each other laugh and take pictures.  It’s almost like a play date!  Recently Logan told her Mom “Only Alissa takes my picture”.  Coming for a little kid that is a 5 star review!  We started Logan’s portrait at my studio and then walking around the building.  Logan’s Dad is an artist who also has a spot in Hope Artiste Village so we even got to take some pics in there.  Sorry other parents!  You can not have your photo session in Michael’s place amongst the metal, tools and fork lift!

Family Portrait in Roger Williams Park – RI Family Photographer

I love these photos because I love this family! Ada is my kids’ bud. There was a time when all my son said was “Ada hit me” (even though she didn’t). There was also a time when Ada always talking about the time my son, Max, gave her way too aggressive of a hug (which did happen).  Mandy is an amazingly talented graphic designer.  She does all the design work for my wedding photography business called M.Studios and does amazing letterpress wedding invitations and birth announcments.  Check out her web site or etsy shop!  I also can’t wait to share the new logo she did for me that has inspired a whole new look for Melissa Lacouture Photography!
