Twins Newborn Session at the Studio – RI Newborn Photography

What’s better than one baby? Two obviously!  Then add in a cute older sister just to make it over the top adorable and you have our portrait session!  Mom and Dad brought Grandma for some back up and I had my M.Studios business partner Marisa on hand to help with some posing.  It truly does take a village!  With everyone’s help we were able to get our shots!  So happy with the results!

Twins Cake Smash and First Year Portrait – RI Cake Smash Photographer

This is my first cake smash session with twins! We had two separate cakes for each birthday baby. After doing some family photos we dove right in to those cakes made as always by Lauren at Cake-tique.  Ladies usually go first, but we decided to have little man try the cake smash experience before his sister.  Looking back maybe we might have switched it.  We thought he was going to make a huge mess, but Brother did not like the cake very much.  His sister on the other hand showed him how it was done.  She posed.  She smiled.  She ate cake.  Even though he maybe doesn’t have a sweet tooth I still got some great shots of her brother in his little blue tie and diaper cover.  I think Mom and Dad should make sure to show every future girlfriend these photos and tell them all about the cake smash torture!!

2011 Rewind :: Babies – RI Baby Photography

I have two children.  The plan has always been to have two and only two, one boy and one girl.  Luckily the plan worked, but sometimes I have moments when I am going to miss not having another baby.  This is where all your babies come in!  I just love being around your babies!  During a portrait shoot you are probably a little annoyed that the little bugger has been smiling at everything all morning and now that the camera is in front of them they decided to be “so serious”.  Meanwhile I’m so happy just hear them make funny noises or watch them marvel at a piece of grass or maybe a rock.  Being around your babies helps me get past those feelings about missing out on having another one.  It takes the edge off, so to speak.

So thank you, Babies of 2011, for giving me my baby fix and just for being so darn cute!  Tomorrow it’s that dirty word that starts with a T – Toddlers AKA 2 year olds!!

Twins at Goddard Park – RI Baby Photography

I can imagine that having identical twin babies can sort of make you feel like a celebrity.  When I asked Mom and Dad what it was like to get everyday tasks done like going to the grocery store they told me that the hardest part is being stopped by people who wanted to oooh and aaahhh over the twins.  As a matter of fact we were approached by a lady during our shoot who just couldn’t get over how cute these little ladies were.  I guess it’s sort of a good problem to have.  Who could blame all these strangers for becoming adoring fans when they see such cutie pies?

I’m just thankful I got to take photos of these ladies before they learned to walk or crawl.  That made my job easier.

See they are celebrities.  Time for an outfit change!
